Cheese Fondue With Soft Pretzels

 Super easy cheese fondue, especially if you use frozen pretzels from your local grocery store.  See the picture of the one I bought at the bottom of this recipe.  2 servings for a date night meal!
Super easy cheese fondue, especially if you use frozen pretzels from your local grocery store. See the picture of the one I bought at the bottom of this recipe. 2 servings for a date night meal!

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp butter1 cup dry white wine6 oz Swiss cheese7 oz aged cheddar cheese1 oz American cheese3 tbsp cornstarchPepper and nutmeg to tastesoft pretzels

Directions:

Shred the gruyere, cheddar and American cheese and toss with 3 tbsp of cornstarch.

Melt butter over medium heat in a double boiler. Add the wine lower heat and add the cheeses, whisking until smooth Season to taste with freshly cracked black pepper and nutmeg just before serving.

Serve immediately in a fondue pot set over a low flame or an electric pot to keep warm.
