Hamberger Steaks in a Sour Cream Sauce
Ingredients: 12 ounces of organic ground beef Salt and pepper to taste 2 tbsp butter 1 tbsp of olive oil 2 tbsp of chopped shallots (greens only) 2 tbsp of brandy 1 cup of light sour cream Directions: Shape meat into two oblong patties. Season both with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp of butter with 1 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet. Cook patties on med-high until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. After School Specials
Back in the day, I would attend university in the evenings and keep my day job. When I got home after school, this is what I would make to eat as a late-night meal.
