Slow Cooker Ribeye Steak

You will never want a steak any other way again! Do not add any additional salt to this recipe or it will be too salty.

Ingredients:

2 to 3 lbs. of rib-eye steaks

1 pkg of ranch seasoning (I make my own): 1 tbsp dill weed, 2 tsp onion powder, 1 tbsp dried parsley, 1 tsp black pepper, 2 tsp salt and 1/3 cup dried buttermilk.

1 pkg au jus season

10 pickled pepperoncini

½ cup butter sliced

¼ cup red wine

 

Instructions:

Sear steak for 2 minutes per side and then place the steak in the slow cooker.

Sprinkle with au jus & ranch seasonings.

Add pickled pepperoncini & top with slices of butter.

Pour the wine over the steak.

Cook on low for 5 hours, or until tender.

Serve with mashed potatoes garnished with some parsley.
