Salt & Pepper to taste

Olive oil to brush on insides of buns

4 slices of provolone cheese cut in half

6 slices of tomato

2 cups of shredded romaine lettuce

Directions:

Prepare the tomatoes and lettuce.

Fry the meat in a skillet with 2 tbsp of olive oil until cooked through. Add the gravy to the skillet and cook until warm.

Slice the buns lengthwise and brush the insides with olive oil.

Add the cooked meat to inside of the buns and top with gravy and the cheese.

With the oven on broil, place the prepared subs on a cookie sheet and broil

just until the cheese is melted.   Remove from the oven and top with the tomatoes and lettuce. Sprinkle with oregano.
