Slow Cooker Savory Beef Stew

Ingredients:

1 cup of flour

1 tbsp of dried thyme

1 tsp of ground allspice

2 tsp of salt

½ tsp of black pepper

3 lbs. of beef stewing cubes

3 lbs. of parsnips sliced on an angel

36 ozs of carrots sliced on an angel

24 ozs of sliced mushrooms

2 sweet onions chopped

42 ozs of petite diced tomatoes

4 cups of beef broth

1 cup of red wine

Directions:

In a bowl, combine the flour, thyme, allspice, salt and pepper. Add the beef to the flour mixture and coat all the mixture into the beef cubes.

Pre-heat the slow cooker on high.  Add the beef broth, tomatoes and wine to the slow cooker.

Add the beef/flour mixture to the pot followed by all the vegetables.

Cook on high for 6 hours and serve warm.
