Ham & Cheese Pinwheels

Ingredients:
1 crescent sheet dough
½ pound of ham
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
3 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp onion powder
¾ tsp oregano
½ tsp basil
1 egg
2 tbsp water
Dried chives for garnish
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil with the seasoning.
Roll out the dough on a large cutting board ensuing the perforations are sealed.
Brush with the seasoned olive oil.
Spread half the cheese over the dough and layer the ham over it. Spread the remaining cheese on top.
Stert from the bottom edge and roll the dough to form a tight log.
Use a sharp knife to cut the dough into 12 even rounds. Place them on the parchment lined cookie sheet.
Whisk the egg and water together to make an egg wash. Brush the top of each piece with the egg wash.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove them from the oven and garnish with the chives.
Serve warm.
