Slow Cooker Pork Back Ribs

Ingredients:
2 pork back ribs
½ tsp each pepper, salt, paprika & cinnamon
2 cups of brown sugar
1 cup of apple sauce
½ cup ketchup
6 tbsp lemon juice
practically
Directions:
Cut ribs into smaller pieces (2 to 3 rib bones).
Boil a large pot of water and place ribs in to cook. Once boiling, turn down to low and cook for 1 hour.
In the meantime, mix the above ingredients above into a medium bowl.
After the ribs have cooked for an hour, remove them and place them in a large slow cooker and high.
Pour the sauce over the ribs and cover.
Once the sauce is hot, lower the slow cooker to low and cook for 4 to 6 hours.
Remove the ribs and place them on a serving dish. Ladle some of the sauce over the ribs and place the remaining sauce in a gravy ladle to allow guests to add more as needed to their own serving.
This goes great with Jambalaya rice.
