Baked Lentils with Cheese

Ingredients:

1 cup of dried lentils, rinsed

1 cup of sweet, chopped onions

1-14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes

1 cup of water

1 bay leaf

1 tsp of salt

1/8 tsp each of sage, marjoram, thyme and pepper

¼ cup of fresh chopped parsley

½ cup of white wine

1 ½ cups of cheese

Directions:

In a 2-liter baking dish, combine all the above ingredients except for the cheese.

Baked, covered in a 375-degree oven for 70 minutes.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle in the cheese on top.

Return the baking disk to the oven uncovered and bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Serve warm.
