Sausage & Artichoke with Penne

This is a fan favorite at our Sunday gatherings. It is quick and easy to make and adds in the protien and veggies we all need.

Directions:

1 bag of frozen baby artichokes (it is hard to find the fresh one and you do not want to use the large ones, they are too tough)

½ onion chopped

330 grams of sausage with skins removed and chopped up and cooked in sauté pan.

½ cup of white wine

1/2/cup of chicken broth

16 ozs Penna

Parmigiano Cheese, salt, pepper to taste

 

Slice artichokes and onions.  Fry in olive oil and add the chicken broth and wine.  Cook sausage in a separate pan. Then mix together with the veggies.  Cook the pasta and mix all together.  Serve.
